 Donated by Life Member Ken McInnis

Inaugurated in 1972 as the Club's premier award, this trophy is presented each season to the player from any senior grade that the Executive believed represented the Club with distinction both on and off the diamond, and in so doing, observed the highest ideals of sportsmanship.

On the occasion of the Club's Silver Anniversary in 1982-83, and to commemorate that milestone in ACT baseball history, the Club renamed this premier senior Sportsman's award after life member Mark Stowers, to recognise not only his single-handed stewardship of the Club in getting it to this birthday, but also to honour his prodigious baseball talent and the great spirit with which he played and coached the game. The Club believes Mark was, and continues to be, the epitome of sportsmanship.
